Ipswich Cup tip – Little Stranger has been racing well and after being caught three wide the entire last start, should find this easier from gate 3.
Best bet – Rosehill Race 8 #8 Huckleberry Friend. Went enormous first up and drawn to get the perfect run. The wetter the better.
Best Value – Rosehill Race 5 #6 Beaveroo. Has come back in good order and is well suited stepping up to 1800 on a wet track.
Lay of the day – Moonee Valley Race 7 #4 Mont Fleuri. Will get back in a race with no real speed, with B Melham off – R Myers on, this could be too big a task.
Best backed runner – Rosehill Race 3 #1 Strike One. Very well supported $2.80 into $2.25.

Judgement
Sydney Race 3 – Splendid Honours will relish the 3200m and should keep plugging away up the straight at good odds. Strike One is the obvious danger who would be better suited over 3 mile and has been the best backed runner so far on the card.
Ipswich Race 6 – In a wide open race the Sydney form should stack up here. Adnocon has a lot of ability and goes very well first up while Mr Unforgettable is the clear second pick being well suited by the drop back in distance. If the money comes for How Much My Love it is worth a saver.
Ipswich Race 7 – Little Stranger has been racing well and after being caught three wide the entire last start, should find this easier from gate 3. Spechenka will appreciate the rise in distance and represents great value at double figure odds while Shuffle The Cash is coming off a solid run in the Brisbane Cup and will be thereabouts at the finish.
