As the 2011 AFL Home & Away season wraps up their is not much to watch out for except for who will gain the Home Ground advantage for the Elimation Final between the Swans and the Saints. Sydney take on Brisbane at the SCG and should claim victory coming off a huge win against the Cats last week while the Saints face Carlton at Etihad which will prove a little tougher. The Pies and Geelong face off in dead rubber, the Hawks warm up for Finals in the Gold Coast and the West Coast take on Adelaide while the Dogs Vs Fremantle, Port Vs Melbourne & Richmond Vs North game have little interes

Round 23 has a couple of matches that will go a long way to shape the top eight. The Kangaroos Vs Saints game is huge for both sides if they want to play Finals footy. Essendon can clinch their top eight spot if they can beat Port Adelaide at Etihad on Sunday. The Pies should put an end to the Dockers season once and for all, the Cats will beat the Swans at Skilled Stadium and the Hawks dispose of the Dogs to setup a first final match against Geelong. West Coast can almost sure up fourth if they can beat the Lions while the Melbourne Vs Gold Caost and Adelaide Vs Richmond are dead rubbers.
Round 22 of the AFL season is usually the last for the Home & Away season, this year though we have another 2 exciting rounds after this one. The Blues and the Hawks will be the Blockbuster match of the Round on Friday night in what should be a cracker games. West Coast Vs Essendon and Sydney Vs St Kilda will help shape the eight. The winner of the Kanagoors V Fremantle game will be the only other side to keep their finals hopes alive. Expect Collingwood to thrash Brisbane, Adelaide to take care of the Gold Coast, the Dogs to beat Port and the Dee and Tigers to put on a shoot out.
Collingwood, Geelong and Hawthorn should stay first, second, third at the completion of Round 21. The pressure is really on Carlton to beat Fremantle in Perth to retain fourth spot ahead of West Coast who also must win against Melbourne at the MCG to keep their top four hopes alive. Sydney need to take care of the Tigers to jump to even points with St Kilda. If Essendon can take care of the Bulldogs and Fremantle lose then the Bombers will be 6 points clear in eight spot which will prove handy come Round 24 when they have the Bye. Throw Q Clash 2 in and we have an interesting Round 21 of AFL.
Round Twenty looks to be a fairly straight forward one for tippers with only a couple of games causing a headache. Essendon Vs Sydney on Saturday night is match of the round for mine. The Bombers in a close one for me. Brisbane Vs Adelaide is another match that could go either way, with nothing on the line this week except your tips be sure to choose carefully. Geelong should easily beat the Gold Cast, likewise for Carlton over Melbourne, Collingwood over Port Adelaide, Hawthorn over North, St Kilda over Fremantle and West Coast should easily take care of the Tigers.
Round 19 promises to be a big week for some AFL clubs with North Melbourne, Western Bulldogs & Melboure playing for their season, another loss could see it almost impossible for them to make Finals. Collingwood, Geelong, Hawthorn, Carlton & West Coast will all look to consolidate their top five positions with all 5 teams going in favourites in winnable games. Fremantle will look to knock off the Hawks to keep their spot in the eight, the Saints should easily despatch of the Gold Coast to consolidate their spot, while the Crows and Power will be playing for bragging rights in the SA Sho
