Greater Western Sydney are favourites with online bookmaker Sportsbet to secure the services of three-time All Australian and two-time Coleman Medalist Brendan Fevola in 2012.

Fevola is priced at $4.00 to join the GWS Giants next year, ahead of North Melbourne, St Kilda and Sydney on the second line of betting at $6.00 each.
“To use Brendan’s own words, his return to the big time has never been about his football prowess, but he seems to have turned the corner this time around and we think he’s got a lot to offer the right club,” sportsbet’s Haydn Lane said.
“GWS are our early favourites, but we believe he’d fit in nicely at quite a few clubs.

“He’d provide great support to Nick Riewoldt at the Saints, while Sydney have a history of getting the most out of ‘bad boy’ full forwards in Tony Lockett and Berry Hall.
“Carlton are probably higher in the market than many might have thought, but he’d be the perfect focal point in their forward line and a return to Visy Park certainly has a romantic feeling about it.”

A Fevola return to the Brisbane Lions is priced as the $201 outsider in the market.

hey i am a long time carlton member and i think our team selectors need to have a good look at our forward line the missing key is the big man fevola. i think if we had him in the team we would of had a good chance at the big one. so i think the club needs to sit back and listen to all of it’s support base and sign him up on a one year contract on the basis of if he breaks the contract he gets club duties so come on the blue boys do it for the fans.
