afl grand finalThe 2009 AFL Finals Series is likely to be the best for many years with all the big Victorian clubs including Essendon, Collingwood and Carlton all doing battle in September.

The AFL Finals will have massive international audience with ESPN covering the games live into the US and UK.

My prediction is for a St Kilda and Geelong Grand Final with the juicy odds $5.70 at Betfair. My prediction is both of these teams will win in week 1 of the finals that will see them continue on the opposite sides of the draw and can only meet in the Grand Final. This is where St Kilda (3.50) will prove to strong and finally hold the cup aloft after a long 53 year wait.

This year Betfair has become the best place to go to for betting during the AFL finals. They offer much better odds than all the other bookies and take bets on all of the different markets including first scoring play and first goal scorer. They are a must for this years AFL finals series.

Below is my Final Series tips starting at the Elimination Finals right through to the Grand Final.
